Dan M. Meyer, MD

Dan M. Meyer, MDDan M. Meyer, MD, received his medical degree from the University of California-Los Angeles in 1983, and went on to complete his residencies with UT Southwestern in General Surgery followed by Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Meyer completed his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Clinical Associate in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. He is board certified in Thoracic Surgery, Surgery and Surgery Certification of Added Qualifications in Surgical Critical Care.
His honors and awards include the 1998 Alan K. Pierce Research Award from the American Lung Association of Texas , the 1989 Parkland Surgical Society Clinical Research Award from Parkland Hospital, the 1989 Teaching Award from UT Southwestern, and the 1994 NASA Group Achievement Award from Spacelab Life Sciences-2 Payload Project Team.
