Victor Machicao, MD
Dr. Victor Machicao is the Assistant Professor of Medicine, Medical Director of Liver Transplantation and Transplant Hepatologist and Gastroenterologist at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He received his MD degree from Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University School of Medicine in Lima, Peru. Dr. Machicao completed his Internal Medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio and his Gastroenterology Fellowship and Fellowships in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Machicao is a member of American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), as well as several UTHealth committtees.
