Scott Lick, MD
Scott Lick, MD, is an Associate Professor of Surgery and the Director of Thoracic Organ Transplantation at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis in 1987. Dr. Lick is board certified in surgery and thoracic surgery.
Dr. Lick resides on several committees, including the Ad Hoc Risk Management Committee, the Resident Education Committee, the Medical Student Clerkship Education Committee, as well as the UNOS Region 4 Heart Transplant Review Board. His honors include Best Doctors in America - Central Region 1996-7 (Cardiothoracic Transplantation), Best Doctors in America - National List 1999, 2001-2002, 2003-2004, 2005-2006, 2007-2008; and the "Texas Super Doctors" list, Texas Monthly, 2004.
