Deborah J. Levine, MD
Deborah J. Levine, MD, is the Assistant Professor, Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine and Director of Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic of Cardiothoracic Surgery at UT Health Science Center of San Antonio. She is also the Assistant Professor and Inpatient Director of Lung Transplantation at UT Health Science Center as well. She is board certified in critical care medicine, pulmonary disease and internal medicine. Her research interests include lung transplantation, interventional pulmonary and pulmonary hypertension.
Dr. Levine has received numerous honors and awards, including being selected for the Scientific Awards and Abstract Committee for the International group which meets annually with approximately 10,000-15,000 participants, selected to be on the American Lung Association Scientific Council, and chosen as one of the US representatives to attend the World Health Organization International Symposium on Pulmonary Hypertension in 2008.
