Kim Davis, RN, CPTC With more than 30 years experience in health care, Kim Davis has been a tireless advocate for organ donation throughout her career. A registered nurse and certified procurement transplant coordinator, Davis has served LifeGift Organ Donation Center since 1989.
As managing director for hospital services, she works to build and cultivate productive organ and tissue donation systems within 105 hospitals LifeGift serves in Southeast Texas. As a National Improvement Leader for the Organ Donation Breakthrough Collaborative, Davis is responsible for institutionalizing nationally recognized best practices and maintaining an atmosphere of continuous improvement throughout the region. Through strong collaborative relationships, data analysis and feedback and medical and nursing staff education, hospitals are kept in copliance with state and federal regulations governing organ, tissue and eye donation to help save and enhance the lives of individuals needing transplants.
Prior to joining LifeGift, Davis served as a neurological and trauma critical care nurse and also help positions with several healthcare marketing companies.
